When the scene opens, we're told that a fight has broken out between Doohyang's dog, Kijoon, and Yonhap's schoolmate, Miriam, and that Miriam's arm has been grazed. Miriam, who's in a bad mood, asks the other dogs to come over and help her, but they refuse, saying that they're too busy to go home. Miriam tries to calm them down, telling them that she's going to draw the curtains and go to sleep. Miriam tells the dogs that she came to see them because she was worried about them, and she doesn't understand why they reacted the way they did. Miriam says that she should have stayed home, but that she suddenly felt sick and started to get angry. Miriam thinks that Miriam is the one who caused the fight, but Miriam points out that it's not her fault, because the teacher "really thinks of the students' best interests" . Miriam asks if Yonhap is okay, but Yonhap says that he's fine, too, and Miriam is not sure if he'll be able to go to school because of her injury. Miriam scolds the dogs for talking about her going to school, and they all start to cry.
