It's been a while since we've seen Ruby, and now she's back in her room. She's super excited to see her new friends, and she wants to know who told her that her other friends are "naggy" . Ruby asks if it's okay to take a long time to learn a new skill, like sign language. She tells us that she bought a book for kids to learn sign language, but it took her so long because she was so new to the world that she didn't really know how to use it. Ruby's excited to hear that shion is going to teach her sign language , but she doesn't want to be rude to him, so she tells him that he's not going home, and that he should come see her tomorrow at the school of dogs, art, and story. Ruby is all, "Hey, I'm not coming to school anymore, because everyone is worried about you" , and then she shows up with the school newsletter, which is like a sunscreen for her skin. She says that she gave it to Doohyang to give to her so that she wouldn't have to tell her mom about it, but then she realizes that she'll still be mad about it when she gets home. She asks Ruby if she feels sorry for her, and he says that he feels sorry, too, because he knows that she cried because he disappeared. Ruby tells her that she needs to know what's going on, and asks her to help her.
