The next morning, the chief prosecutor arrives to tell Kijun that the case has been closed and that he will not be able to perform an autopsy on the bodies. Kijun asks why he has come to the interrogation room. The chief prosecutor tells him that he has had a nightmare and that the nightmares will not return. He tells Kijun to relax and sleep, and Kijun agrees. He then tells his mother to get up. The doctor has said that the hospital stay will get longer, and that they need to wait for the doctor's report. The mother says that she has bought some whipped cream and that it is better to eat it with her fingers. The whipped cream is cold, and the whipped cream needs to be very cold when it is eaten with one's fingers. She tells him to eat with his fingers, and he agrees to do so. He asks if she remembers the story, and she says that it would not have been possible for them to have been together like this without her. She says that if she had not been there, they wouldn't be together now. She also says that the doctor said that they should wait and see if the hospital period would get longer. He says that he bought something, but that he does not know if Kijun remembers this story, or not. He adds that he doesn't want to know if it had been for her that they would have had to be together this way. She then says that they will come with him the next day, and they will eat with their fingers, which she says is better than eating with her hands. She adds that she will move the box of sheet music, but it is heavy, so she just needs to move it. She asks him if he is done with everything. He replies that he
