The governor's fellowship stops talking to sasaki, and he sighs. He tells them that it is hard for him to act like "desirable son" when he is drunk. He says that he wants to be friends now with his brother, but that he has an "iron wall" around him. He asks if he can wipe his face and wipe the floor with his hands. He wants to greet his brother for him, but he is afraid that he looks like a "colleague, a co-colleague." . . he asks if there is anything else he can tell about his brother. The crowded pub where he is eating is crowded and he says he is comfortable at such places. He then asks why he was called to the pub, and the crowded pub replies that he was not commanded to do so. He goes on to say that he is the type to "rebel against commands" and that he would not like to be called out like that. He also says that the kid that he saw at the party seems like he is in a rush. When he hears this, he says that it does not have anything to do with him, and leaves.
