In this chapter, the audience is introduced to a new character, Choe taejoo. He is the son of a famous kendo player. His father is a dignified man, and he is also very fond of his daughter, who is a member of the same elite family as his father. Choe asks if he is the best player in the world, and when he answers that he is, he says that he would have protected his father if he were a better player. He then goes on to say that he has a lot to do, and that he needs to wake up and go to school.
