In this chapter, Lee Soo-nam is still in hiding, and he is waiting for Lee Seong-nam to return. He tells Lee that he has heard that Lee Seung-nam has taken leave of absence from the university, and that he should go back to school and study. Lee is shocked at the news, and says that he does not believe that Lee Sung-nam was involved in Lee's scheming. He says he will go to the university office and break into the office later. Lee Seon-nam tells Lee to go away, and Lee tells him that he seems to have a "wicked purpose" at the university. Lee tries to convince Lee that they are going well together, but Lee says that they have been tricked again. Lee says he feels dizzy and that Lee has not come back yet. Lee explains that he is worried because he lost Lee Seung-nam after he got Lee, so Lee got mad. Lee asks if there is anything he can do to solve the problem, but he says he has to go to a nearby pub to look for a scarf. Lee tells Lee he has seen Lee smiling for the first time since they declared that they were no longer married. Lee thinks that this is the last time they will see each other.
