The ship's captain, harpoon, tells the audience that he is taking the ship up to the coast because of the "tsunami cloud" that has formed over the bay. He explains that the cloud was created when the ship was hit by a massive wave, and that the captain was unable to bring the ship down because he was missing a leg. The captain says that he decided to clip the wings of the ship so that they would not be able to catch up with the storm. He tells us that he knows how it feels to be on the other side of the storm waiting for help. He says that his father was also a draker, so he knows what it is like to be waiting. He asks the captain what he should do when they find Cujo, and the captain tells him that they should telegraph the station. He also tells the captain that they have to stop the ship because they are not responding to their signal. The Captain says that they need to get the ship out of the cloud, and he tells the crew to "flick flick flick" so that the ship does not collide with the cloud. He then tells them that Cujo actually rode a wave of the sea, and they are amazed that he was able to do so. He reminds the crew that the next wave will not be a warning, and reminds them to put on their life vests.
