Kraken's flight 29 is over, and he sees the tapestry that Mika made from her first kill. He asks why they parted ways, and Mika tells him that a man has his reasons. Kraken tells Mika to get her ass back to work, because he hasn't had a job for three months. He tells her that the lanterns in the town used to be filled with dragon oil, but now they're all filled with gas lamps. Mika asks him not to drag Cujo's head back to where they left off, but he promises to do so while he's here
