The ship is surrounded by a massive herd of small dragons, and the only way to get them to move is to use a bomb or an anchor. The first dragon they find is a scout, so they're not going to use the bomb or the anchor. They're going to have to use harpoons to get the dragons to move. The harpoon is hot and the rope is hot, and they've got to pull the harpoon out of the water before the rope gets hot enough to start a fire. They manage to pull it out, but then they see that the dragon is holding onto a bridge. They panic, and then the ship catches fire.
