In this chapter, we're introduced to a new character, the captain of the southern-xinjiang army. He's the captain's son, and he's a bit of a mystery to us. The captain tells us that he and his men have been searching for the crown prince, but they've been unable to find him. They've also been looking for a place where the prince's highness can be found, but it's been too hard for them to find it.
