The brothel owner apologizes to his ladies for not opening for business yet. He tells them to "buck up and show their best" . He asks them to pick up Sara or Marie for him. He wants to know if they want information on the governor of a neighboring province. They all agree that they would like to know. The owner tells them that he cannot afford to have so many of them around. He says that he has heard that the madam is the mistress of the brothel for some other mysterious client. The madam is always right, he says. She brought the cute guy along with her. He is our target, then ! It's going to be worth it! The madam says that she just touched something "weird" on the man's chest. She says that it was a "living nightmare" and that she cannot believe that they preferred the brothel owner over her.
