In this chapter, we learn that the young mistress of the prince's harem has decided to protect her family from the same mistake that her brother made. She decides that she would rather protect them than have her family executed by the prince. She wonders if her father would still want her to marry the prince after knowing that his family will be executed. The young mistress tells the prince that she has invented a new kind of glass that prevents the little kitten from escaping so that no one will be hurt. The prince says that he will cripple her if she continues to promote such a thing. She tells him that she will accompany the prince in hell if he suffers any injury. She says that if her young master suffers an injury, she will not be able to move the glass.
