In this short scene, Mi-yochu tries to convince his father that he is strong enough to defeat the crown prince. Mi-Yochu tells him to forget about the "silly promise" that he made to win the tournament. He tells Mi-Yose that he will defeat the prince as promised. The two of them discuss how the prince is hanging from the roof of the arena, which is a sign that the tournament is over. The prince's highness has made him immune to all forms of poison, and he is therefore unable to defeat his opponent.
