The next morning, Mi Yochu wakes up to find that she has been locked in a room with the disguised villager. She wonders where the disguised man is, and wonders if he is with her. She asks him to come and see her, but he refuses, saying that they will only hand over the body to the master the next day. He tells her that it is easy for him to die in dreams, and that he remembers when he was young, when his family was on the brink of ruin. His father rescued him, and they fell in love, and he even went to marry the female corpse. He asks her why she is still awake, and she tells him that she cannot sleep. He says that she is his cup of tea, since they do not know if they will live or die. He then asks her to let him have a proper night's sleep, but she refuses. She says that the woman who screamed for her earlier was a good scram, and after hearing her scream, he felt a sense of relief. She then asks him why he finally wants to be with her, and when he says that he will call her "chuchu jam" , she agrees.
