About This Chapter
Brother Su asks his father how he ended up in such a bad state. He tells him that his father is very sad because he used to be able to eat 12 bowls of rice a day, but now he can only eat eight bowls. He also tells his father that there are also brothers of the Mao Mao army in the mountains. He says that he will beat his father up if he does not speak up, just like he did when he was a young man. The elder brother says that they should move out of the mountains, as the city has been sealed off and there is no internet there. They climb over the city walls, but the dog official tells them that they are retarded and should be dealt with by the local magistrate. Brother Su says that the plague has struck their area, and that they used to rely on royal doctors to treat them. This time, however, the royal doctors have been sent away, and they have sealed off the city gates too. He asks if they can come and look at the plague, and he says that it looks dangerous. He then asks if his hand is swollen, and she says that she is immune to the plague. He wonders why they still flirt, and wonders if they would be poisoned if they were infected with the plague
