The chapter opens with a flashback to the night of the murder. In the shower room at the university where the murder is to take place, Goro and his friend, Tokima, are getting ready to go to the bar for a drink. As they are about to leave, they are interrupted by the sound of a knock at the door. It is the voice of a young girl who has just arrived at the bar. The girl tells the young man that she is a prostitute and that she has come to seduce him. The young man, however, does not believe her, and goes on to tell her that he is not a prostitute, but a "hothead" . He also tells her that she should "wipe" him with her hands and that he should "get away" from her. She tells him that she loves him, but that she does not want him to "touch" her "dick" with his hands. She also tells him to get away from her, because she is an "ugly ass girl" , and he should not touch her. He tells her to "shake shake" and to "wipe wipe" him, because he is an ugly hothead too. He then tells the girl to "make sure" that the other girls do not do anything that would disgrace the murder team or the university. He asks her to rustle up his hair so that he can go home to his little sister.
