"Love murder basketball" is the title of this chapter's dialogue, and it's a reference to the fact that no one in the underground has ever been arrested for a crime they've committed. In fact, no one has ever cracked down on the underground for breaking the law either. The lieutenant of the underground's intel division, known as "ichiban," is one of the men who has his nails painted in the gang's colors. He's the one who reports back to his father, the leader of the syndicate, and he's responsible for all of the operations of the various underground divisions. He explains that the only people who are trusted by their father are his children, who have been trained all their lives to do exactly what their father wants them to do. This is why no one will ever be able to get close to their father, because he trusts them all the time.
