In this chapter, we are introduced to a young boy who has been sexually abused by his mother's lover. The boy's name is "shoto" and he is the protagonist of the story. He has been trained to be a good boy and to be obedient to his mother. He tells his mother that he wants to go to the art gallery where his mother is showing her works. He asks his mother if he can rub the paint on the wall to make it look like he is wearing a nice dress. She tells him that he is not required to pay her back and that she will take care of him. He then asks her if she would like him to kiss her. She says that she would rather have him kiss her than have him touch her. He says that he will sell her promise and promises to wipe the floor with his hands if she breaks her promise. She then asks him if he would like her to slap him if she does not want him to. He replies that he would slap her if he did not want her to. She asks if he is a boy and he says that since he is in the bathroom, he does not know who she is. He also tells her that she is not going to be able to get away from him because he is so small. He warns her not to scream because no one will hear or save her.
