An update from the author that was posted on X, “Hey guys. Yes, I disappeared for a couple of months. Where have I been? Apart from being sick for a couple of months and going through therapy, I just needed a break. So, I took one. Ifelt really disconnected from myself, and my nervous system was completely overwhelmed after how stressful the past few years of my life have been. I used to love drawing, then I started hating it. Then I started hating writing, too. Eventually, I realized I was only doing it because it was my job and my livelihood I hated feeling that way. I felt so disconnected from something I once loved so deeply. On top of dealing with my mental health and some really dark thoughts, 1 realized I just needed to step away for a while. Regardless of how it might be perceived, how many readers I might lose, or how much support might disappear, I needed to put myself first for once. I want to draw for myself again. I want to create because I genuinely want to create, and I hope people enjoy what I make. But if they don't, that's okay, too. I haven't drawn anything in months, so I'll be getting back into it and drawing every day while I work on updating the next few chapters. As for LMB, it will be ending by the end of next year. The ending has already been decided, so now I just need to work hard toward getting there. I have so many other stories 1 want to pursue afterward, and I want to make sure I give LMB the ending it deserves. So, when will the next chapter be released? By the end of this month, October. Please wait for the update.” -Kurutta H

It's August 🥲💔

I just sat and read this masterpiece from start to finish. I personally LOVE and prefer the new art style. This art style brings depth and detail to the characters features, which was missing before. It definitely opens a whole new life to this story. I love seeing the masculine features shine especially in Shoto and his brother! Their feminine features are definitely beautiful, but with the masculine details it just makes it so much better!!! Huge props to this artist for making such a huge decision. The backlash can be pretty difficult and overwhelming, but I can see the hard work and care put into this story. Great job!!! :D

Ngl once the art changed and the author started getting criticism this definitely went downhill now they dont even have an update schedule for inkr atp…I definitely did enjoy this back in the beginning but now it seems like the whole story has completely changed like goro and shoto are wayyy different now and i get that if the author wanted to change it they definitely couldve it wouldve been nicer if it was a slowerr change though cus it was like a 0 to 100 typa change and now the atory lowk sucks. dropping it for now but ill definitely come back and see if it gets better 🤷‍♀️

Its June......

the original artist left guys. the author is illustrating and writing now and I fear we said this 7 million times. I get the new art style is not going to be everyones cup of tea but damn if your just gonna hate no need to leave a comment just close the app and move on. this is not affecting your life 😭🙏

God i let this marinate and now they have different faces smh whyyy 😭 ngl i hate it

It feels like someone completely different took over, knew what was supposed to happen but not what they will say and… it’s shit. Shoto is do disrespectful towards Goro. The way they talk, the way they treat each other has changed almost 180 and for the bad. Why is Shoto the one in control now? Why does Goro act like he is the one that signed the contract to be a whore? It is so awful now. I’m not gonna start on the art work cause that also an awful change.

The new illustration confuses me; I hardly recognize anyone anymore...🫠

Is it just me or did the old art give their expressions more depth
