In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist's father insulted his wife and threatened to kill his son if the protagonist did not leave the room. The protagonist then tells us that he is in a great mood, and that his son gave him a hug, which he had not done in a long time. However, if he does not leave, he will kill him. He says that he will not insult his children or his wife, and he says that his bad happens, and they can get into a fight. He also says that the women in his family are not respected, and his son treats them poorly. He adds that he has heard that his doctor is one of the highest paid doctors in the world, but his son is just as creative, and respect is earned. He tells the protagonist that he can tell that his wife is not respected because she treats others poorly, but because she is not wearing his wedding ring. He then says that if he did not want to pay, he would not have to pay for his son's eyeglasses and all of the physical harm he has done to his wife. He concludes by saying that his organization has many mouths to feed, and it would be a small contribution if it were not for the fact that they do not take cheques or direct deposits. They also do not accept donations, but only direct deposits, which means that they have nothing to give. They even throw in an extra 50 billion yen for feeding the starving dogs, which is not generous, but they count it as charity work.
