Now that he's stronger than ever, Ren can't believe what's happened. He's been tricked by the immortals once again, and he can finally break his barrier. Ren is shocked to find that the scroll that used to protect him has suddenly disappeared. Ren asks if it's because of the evil scroll, and the old man tells him that it is because of another scroll that carries evil power. Ren says that he hasn't done any harm to the other scroll, but that he won't allow Ren to do anything to the evil one. Ren begs for help, but the old guy refuses to help him. He says that Ren is no longer able to protect Ren, and that Ren's power is stronger because of it. Ren thinks that Ren should have recognized him when he killed the family back in the day, and Ren is glad that he was able to do so. Ren then realizes that Ren has been blinded by his hatred for the family, which makes Ren stronger. Ren calls out to little yue to wake up and tell her the whole story. He tells her that her master, immortal quing yu, was actually protecting her.
