The next morning, Zhuangli tries to find out what's been going on between the two men. He realizes that they've been eavesdropping on him in his sleep, and he's worried that they heard him say his name in his dream the night before. He tries to figure out why the boy is acting like a child in his dreams, but he can't figure out. He asks the boy if he wants to eat first, and the boy says he doesn't want to eat anything first. He's still weak, he says, and it's because he switched from being a dragon to being a human being. He wants to find a way for the two of them to get back to the place where they belong. He tells the boy that he'll treat him to a medicinal dish downstairs so that he can replenish his body. The smell of medicinal dishes makes the boy want to go downstairs and get some food, but the smell of the dishes makes him want to stay downstairs and wait for the other two to come downstairs and treat him.
