This is a locked chapterChapter 88: The Frightening Night
About This Chapter
In the middle of the night, Zillah hears footsteps outside his bedroom door. Zillah's father tells him that the footsteps are coming from a nearby funeral home. He tells Zillah that he should not worry about his daughter's developing myopia because the spirit is a fan of "wicked chicken" . The father then tells the little girl that she can't even have a hamburger or an egg tart because they're too expensive. He also tells her that they'll buy her 5 wicked chicken and 10 wicked egg tart and she'll love them all. The little girl stops by the funeral home again and the father tells her to stop by again. He explains that the fire was caused by a private merchant who was operating his business improperly and illegally storing flammable items near the fire hydrant. The fire was not caused by the evil men from before, but by a florist who was selling flowers that were flammable. The owner of the florist doesn't value human life for his own profit, so he starts the fire.
