This chapter opens with a knock at the door. It's the fourth killing that the monster has done in the last few days. He's ecstatic, because this is the first time in his life that he's gotten a harvest in one day. Ooh, that's a big deal, right? Well, it turns out that the ghost stories that he was compiling for the police were actually ghost stories for the "supernatural investigation bureau" , which is supposed to be looking into all kinds of supernatural stuff. So, the police stole the fourth kill from the monster. The monster is so upset that he doesn't even know what happened to the first two days of his killing spree. He thinks that maybe the officer who asked him to compile the list was just trying to get his number, or something. The officer baited the monster into thinking that the supernatural bureau was looking into his ghost stories, and then they stole his kill. The next day, the monster plans to go to the mountains to find the film crew.
