Back at the hotel, Zhang and Brother Zhao are trying to figure out what's going on with the flaming skid. They're convinced that it's all part of a plot to kill them and bring the dead back to the afterlife. They want to drive the skid out of the way so that the dead can't see them. They also want to bring all the dead tourists back to Gujing so that their souls can be reunited with their dead loved ones.
