When the doctor arrives, he is surprised to find that Rans's condition is much worse than he had thought. He is also surprised to learn that the doctor has been sent to cure Rans. The doctor asks Rans where he is working, and Rans answers that he is in high school. He then asks the doctor why he is there, and the doctor explains that he has come to cure an old man.
