In this scene, the main character, Shu-Ting, is trying to make his way in the world of ancient Chinese martial arts. He encounters three masters of ancient martial arts, all of whom refuse to challenge him. He challenges one of them to a duel, but the other two refuse, saying that they are too busy with their own business to challenge the other. The other two are the head of a school called the "xiaoyao" school, and they are both very angry at Shu for not challenging them. The head of the school, who is called "ning xiao" , is also very angry because he has heard Shu's criticisms of his school. He tells Shu to stop being so impatient and to stop reading so many martial arts books. Shu says that he is not the tonglao , and he asks why he is so impatient. Shu tells him that he should stop being pretentious and stop being a loser. He says that ancient martial art is not dead, but withers, and that some people have broken free from the mental hospital and are now returning to the real world. Shu then tells the other masters that he wants to be their apprentice, and Shu says he will kill them if they don't let him. Shu is amazed at the strength of the man standing before him, and says he has never seen such a powerful martial arts master before. Shu thanks Shu for his help, and asks him to wait for him.
