The Zhang family finally decides to settle the matter with a large sum of money, and the narrator tells us that the money will be sent to each of the Zhang children. The narrator then launches into a long speech about how he's going to use the money to make a "dragon whip" , which is a drink made from dragon juice. He's also going to make some wine out of the dragon juice, which will make him a lot of money. After the speech, the narrator heads back to the city to find dinner. When he finds out that his sister has been having an affair with a rich man, he is all, "Wow, there's no way I could have been in love with her when I was her age" . He tells her that the last time he tried to be her boyfriend, he was harassed by an heir and had to ask him to be his "boyfriend" instead . This time, he tells her, she's not going to believe him, because she'll be too young to be in love, and she won't be able to remember what happened when she was younger. She tells him to stop making him worry about her, and he agrees.
