The scene opens with Lin and Mingwei arguing over which dress to choose. Lin wants Mingwei's dress, but Mingwei insists that he wants the one that he saw in the painting. Lin tells Mingwei to stop lying to him and to tell Mingwei his true identity. Mingwei protests that she already knows, but Lin insists that she doesn't need to know because he wants her to know that he's serious about her well being. He says that Mingwei should go back to his sister and buy some things for her. He then asks Mingwei if he can change his clothes later. He wants to stay with Mingwei, but he can only wear his new clothes in front of Mingwei from now on. Lin says that since then, Mingwei has been bullying him about the beauty in his painting. The only way he can have her to make her his wife is to have her make him his wife. He's already sick of the old ladies in his house, and after completing the mission, he'll reward Mingwei with twenty miracle stones.
