The narrator tells us that the demon clan has forbidden its members to go into its "most dangerous place" , which is said to be full of "many kinds of demons" . The narrator explains that if he goes there, he'll be "punished by heaven," but that he's going to try to save his granddaughter. He's got a plan to help her, but he needs to find a way to do it. He introduces his granddaughter to her grandfather, who introduces himself as "muu wushuang." He explains that his grandfather wanted him to come to see his family, but something happened that made it impossible for him to do so. Now, he says, he wants to meet his granddaughter, who has forgiven her parents. They're going to have a nice dinner together.
