The next morning, baiyan is furious with his father for hitting his servant. He tells his father that he is now his wife, and that he can do anything he wants with his wife. He asks his father to stop worrying about the wedding, but his father refuses to change his mind. He says that the young marquis needs time to get used to his new life, and so the wedding needs to be held soon. He also says that his mother would be happy to be married to the marquis if she knew that he was the one marrying her.
