In this chapter, we learn that the wedding has taken place, and that Caixin has come to congratulate the newlyweds. Caixin tells the Queen that he has come because he was invited to the wedding before he left, and he has prepared a celebratory gift for the newlyweds and sent it to the Queen's office. The Queen is pleased to see Caixin, but she scolds him for being so careless. She scolds Caixin for his careless behavior, and she asks the Queen to spare Caixin's life. She tells Caixin to let Caixin go, but Caixin refuses, saying that he is an outsider, and therefore cannot control himself. He says that according to the rules, Caixin should not lift the veil over the Queen, and the Queen tells him that he may leave. She sends Caixin into the bridal room, and Caixin asks if Caixin showed any expression, or if he did something inappropriate when he left.
