About This Chapter
When the marquis comes to fetch the medicine, she is shocked to find that the young master has lent her his clothes. The young master asks her why she drank so much blood, and she tells him that she fell into the river when she was out looking for medicine. He asks her what she did wrong, and when she says that she shouldnt have eaten so many spicy buns before she drank blood, he asks why he looks so angry. The marquis tells her that if she does not drink up all of the water in the yard, she will be in trouble, and that the lord has told her that she must have helped him in causing trouble. She tells him to split the water into half and half, so that she will not be punished for helping the lord cause trouble. The next day, they will go to the river, and the next day they will drink half of it. When she asks why she is not eating, he says that the night before, he dreamed that he would be chased by a "mad dog" all night. He says that he has no appetite now, and asks her if she would like some water. She replies that she would, but that she has a stomachache, so she asks her to come and ask her a favor
