The next morning, Lingyan wakes up to find that his sister has been poisoned. He tells his brother that he has checked on her countless times and that she is not poisoned. Lingyan begs his brother to come and see her again, but his brother refuses, saying that he is still worried about her. He asks his brother if he can come and visit again, and his brother promises to do so for him.
