As the scene opens, Cai Ming tells Su Ling that he has come to apologize for her rudeness to him. He tells her that she will not be able to come back to the Marquis's house. She also tells Cai Ming that she pushed Cai Ming when Cai Ming tried to kiss her, and Cai Ming accuses Su Ling of being rude to him because she missed Cai Ming so much. He says that he will kill Su Ling for her.
