The Colonel arrives at the Gathering Center and tells the crowd that the zombies have left. He gives them three minutes to count the survivors or else he'll make their lives miserable. The Colonel says that his son, Luo Huantian, was responsible for the tragedy at the gathering. He says that if it weren't for Luo, countless people might have died. He also says that Luo hid the zombies and attracted them to the gathering center because he didn't care about the deaths of others. He tells the Colonel that he's willing to kill Luo if the Colonel agrees to give him five times more supplies and more guards in the future. Luo wants to know why the Colonel doesn't want him to kill him. He points out that the Colonel is talking nonsense for his own interests.
