When the guards leave, Gu is left alone with the giant zombie. He tries to convince Gu to run away from the gathering center, but she refuses. He tells her that he will meet her there later when he lures the zombie to a different place. Gu tells him that the guards are busy protecting her, so she should stay and fight with the zombie alone. She tells him to shoot the safe room, but the guards won't let her in. Gu says that he has food, a safe house, and a comfortable bed, so he's going to take her with him. He says that his father sent a chopper to pick him up and fly him to a safer district. Gu asks if he can explain to her somewhere else, but he refuses to tell her anything. He asks if she's still alive or dead, and she says that if she does, he'll throw her out of the room to the zombies. He wants to know why the guards didn't check on her before she entered the center. He also asks if they're from influential families, and he says that they are. He's glad that he killed the girl, because it would have been better if he'd killed her instead. He curses the guards, and curses himself for killing the girl.
