Captain Strong tells his men to open their backpacks and collect 10,000 badges to leave the island. Each of them has a red badge, which they can use to leave. He tells them that there are two kinds of people on the island: those with black backpacks and those with red backpacks. The black backpacks contain weapons and medicine, while the red backpacks do not. If one of the men collects ten badges, that man will be allowed to leave with nine others. Captain Strong says that they can trade their black badges with other powerful men for an advantage.
