In this chapter, Songchi tells the reader that he has found a pouch in the boss's house. He asks Songchi if he is okay, and Songchi says that he is. He tells Songchi that years ago, he passed by an ancestral home belonging to the Chen family, and discovered that the family was using the lives of people nearby to perform evil spells. He defeated a hundred members of the family, but an old man walked up to him and told him that the ancestral home was not a place he should have come. The old man was a very powerful man, but Songchi was able to defeat him, but he was unable to use his power to kill him. Songchi uses his life's work to find out that the old man will be in his hundred years.
