In this short scene, Min-hyuk tries to convince Kim to eat at a fancy restaurant in order to make her brother cry when he walks out of the place. He tells Kim that he has no time to waste, and that he will visit her when he gets back to Korea. He also tells her that she will be a better person when she returns to her homeland, and he promises to visit her by the time she comes back. She tells him that she always resented her father for making her dreams come true, but now that she has told him, she hopes he will not be sad about her departure. She says that she knew he would be disappointed, but she still thought he would wish her luck. She also says that even if she were on another continent, it would not be the same as being in Korea. She adds that she was too presumptuous in thinking that she would be able to get into the university because Mr. Yon is willing to give her a personal recommendation. She wonders if she should drink some instant coffee mix to wake up.
