My Darling Signed In

In this chapter, the narrator tells us that he's just a normal student at college. He's got a crush on a guy named Minjoon Park, and he wants to make sure that he doesn't get taken from him. He wants to give him a special gift: a hand-knitted scarf to wear on his birthday. The narrator is worried about how she's going to do it, since it's summer, and she'd like to wear it all the time. She's also worried about whether or not she'll be able to knit her initials on the scarf, since she wants to wear them on it. But the narrator reassures us that she won't try to do anything too hard, and that she just wants to enjoy the moment. We learn that the narrator's crush, the guy named Jaehyun Park, has been hanging around the house, hanging out with random people, and hanging out late at night. One night, he shows up at the house late, and the narrator is all, "Gee, I wish I could see what he was like before I got into this mess with him" . He tells the professor to hurry up and apologize, and then he'll make sure to give the professor a present: the notebook he dropped on the floor.
