It's dinnertime, and we find out that Miles has been bitten by a giant bug. He's not okay, but he's glad he got bitten, because it's so painful. Miles says he heard that a resort manager was planning a "test of courage" in the forest, by the beach, and that's what the bug bite was for. Miles thinks it sounds like a good idea, but says he doesn't want to go through with it, because the forest is dangerous during the day, and he'd have to stay there for hours at a time. He tells Miles that he'll protect him if he can show him how brave he is, and they go ahead. Miles wonders why Miles seems to be acting like a "real boyfriend" all the time, and wonders if something is up with him.
