"Insane" is the first word we hear in this chapter, and it's the first thing we hear from the hero. He's talking to his partner, Shmoop, and they're talking about the new record for the fastest fire-fighting team in the game. They're both psyched about the accomplishment, but Shmo doesn't want to go too far, because he's worried that Shmo is going to be jealous. He says he'll use his new record as an excuse to go back to his little game of "noodle-fighting."
