In this chapter, the fanciful medicine fairy asks for a picture of the hare. He wants it to be a "whole naked body painting" . He also wants to know who ordered the assassination of the emperor three years ago. The concubine tells the fairy that the emperor is in a state of coma and needs to be checked by a doctor. The fairy says that he has tried his best to find out the cause of the assassination but cannot find out who ordered it. He decides to take the hare to the prefecture first to rest.
