When the narrator first saw the clothes she was wearing, she felt like her whole life was on the line. She wanted to be as beautiful as she could be, but she didn't want to go to work because she was afraid that she would be looked down upon. The narrator tells us that she hasn't seen Sawako in ages, and that the monthly "goth loli" tea party is coming up. Sawako is wearing an "angela christie" dress, and the narrator says that she's always wanted to dress like an angel. She also says that seeing her role model in person has taught her a lot about life. She says that it's important to be able to quit when you're not working hard enough to make your dreams come true. She's worried that this is the time for her to stop loving her.
