In this chapter, we learn that the Governess is worried about her son's health. The Governess tells her son that he is not tired and that he should relax in his mother's house for a few days. The boy tells her that he has not gone to the studio and that his teacher has not said anything. He says that he does not care if he is tired or not and that everyone should stop listening to his performances. He tells her to go back to her old ways and to give up on her son.
