This chapter opens with the sound of a knock at the door. It's the father of a young man who's just arrived at the studio. He's worried that the young man is going to sleep with his hair wet. The father tells him to get out of the way, because he's about seven years older than he is. The young man says that he'll be obedient to his father, since men are more mature when they're older. He also tells the father that he accidentally hurt himself when he helped a hooligan get into a fight with another artist at the same time. He says that if he sees any wounds on his body in the future, the father will chase him away from the studio immediately
