In this chapter, Dr. Rivers warns his patient that he should be careful with the people around him. He tells the patient to be careful not to get too close to the castle walls and to keep his mouth shut. Rivers also warns the patient not to be too friendly with the guards. He asks the patient if he heard his reply to his earlier questions. The patient replies that he did not hear the answer back then and that it is his fault for causing him to get hurt. He also apologizes for not protecting him properly.
