The narrator asks the guy if he's done with his hair, and the guy says, "I've maintained my hair for 26 years." The narrator is shocked that the guy didn't ask the question earlier, because his hair has always been curly and curly-haired, and he doesn't need to worry about changing it. The man who picked the "card" says that his new hairstyle has been praised by a boy named "little octopuis," and the narrator thinks that's a good sign. He also says that he'd like to go for a swim, but he needs the approval of the company before he changes his hairstyle. He asks the man if he remembers to turn the window off, but the man says he remembers not to do that, and so he goes for a walk. He tells the narrator that he has always liked many men before, but that he only ever loved the one he loves. He says that if he could go back in time, he would respond to the man's confession that he would go to the sea with her, and that his life now is "absolutely fabulous" . But the man who asked him 10 years ago to go out with him is back, sitting down, and talking about his ex-wife, who is back to her usual boring ways. He wants to join him, but she's already rejected him.
