Back at the Queen's quarters, eros is still holding the houndscent. He's worried that the sound of the bathing chamber will drown him out, so he washes up and goes back to bed. He hears the echo of the water in the room, which makes him think that the noises are coming from the water, not from eros. He realizes that he's hiding something in his hand, and he asks little zhan if she wants to see him in his dog form. She doesn't want to be upset, but she does want to know what's going on. She says that she gave her only one piece of paper, and that she's not going to give birth to a baby anymore, so she can't have another baby. The sound of an explosion echoes through the air, and eros asks to be set on fire, thinking that the evil god is really a psycho. He knows that if he dies, the fire won't do anything, but if he is still alive, he'll continue working with eros and the magic puppet.
